A: Do you have a favorite modern art school?

B: I really like the New York school that is famous for its abstract paintings. At the same time, I am also really interested in German expressionist paintings.

A: They are The Blue Rider and The Bridge schools. The former is more natural, by which artists emphasizing abstract  means to represent their feelings. The latter pays more attention to merging new and old artistic traditions and still has a relatively concrete visual presentation. 

分别是蓝色骑士画派和桥派。前者更加洒脱,艺术家注重以更抽象的方式表达情感。后者专注于融合新旧艺术,仍有相对具体的视觉呈现。
