A man from Shenyang, Northeast China's Liaoning Province killed two and injured another seven in a knife attack on Thursday. The suspect was later found dead, the local police said.

The suspect surnamed Tian attacked a person with a knife in a market in Shenyang's Dadong district. The victim died shortly after first responders arrived. Tian later killed another person and injured seven more while he was running away, according to a statement published by local public security bureau. 

Police said they later found the suspect's body in a sewage well. 

The attack occurred when Tian, 61 years old and owner of a meat stall in the market, started to argue with a customer, thepaper.com reported.
