How sweet! The annual dates festival has kicked off in Doha, the Qatari capital!

The sixth Fresh Local Dates Festival, held at the Soug Waqif market with the participation of around 80 farms from across Qatar, started on July 15 and will last until July 30. Organised by the Qatari Ministry of Municipality and Environment, this festival is part of the ministry's major program to provide platforms for marketing local produce during the harvesting season.
