insomnia/失眠(shīmián)

A: Are you feeling uncomfortable? Why do you look so listless.

你是身体不舒服吗?怎么看起来无精打采的。

(nǐ shì shēntǐ bù shūfú ma?zěnme kànqǐlái wújīnɡdǎcǎi de?)

B: I've had insomnia for the past few days. 

我已经连续几天晚上失眠了。

(wǒ yǐjīnɡ liánxù jǐtiān wǎnshànɡ shīmián le.)

A: I used to have insomnia quiet often before. Long-term insomnia not only will impact your skin condition, it will also increase your weight, blood pressure and risk for diabetes or cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease and such.

我以前也经常失眠。长期失眠不仅会影响皮肤状态,还会增加肥胖,高血压,糖尿病,心脑血管病等风险。

B: You're on the point. There are a lot of different causes behind insomnia. For example, stress, worries, irregular sleep patterns, diet and such will all impact sleep.

你说的没错,失眠的诱因也有很多,比如:压力,焦虑,睡眠不规律,饮食等都会影响睡眠。

A: Before you sleep you shouldn't take in too much coffee or strong tea, or that will excite your nervous system and make it difficult to fall asleep.  

临睡觉前不能摄入太多咖啡,浓茶,这样神经会变得兴奋,会不易入睡。
