 Time-honored Chinese clothing brand Hengyuanxiang has provided clothes worn by athletes in the Refugee Olympic Team at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, a move that won support and compliments from many netizens who expressed wishes for world peace on China's twitter-like Weibo.

Hengyuanxiang said on its Weibo account that many employees of the company worked till midnight to provide tailored clothes to the Refugee Olympic Team athletes, in order to "deliver love and encouragement" to the athletes. 

"Sport is our common language, and we need more than at any time a unified Olympic spirit for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics," the company wrote in a Weibo post.

Chinese netizens have heaped compliments on Hengyuanxiang for the company's move to support the refugee team. One netizen said that company is a "Chinese firm with international spirit." Many netizens also wrote the hashtag "for world peace" under Hengyuanxiang's Weibo post. 

The Refugee Olympic Team is participating at the Tokyo Olympic Games with 29 athletes competing in 12 sports.
