Chinese sportswear brand Peak, an official sponsor of the Brazil Olympic Committee, has submitted a complaint to the organization for Brazilian men football team not wearing Peak's uniforms and instead wrapping them around their waists when accepting their gold medal in 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games, in violation of the contract between Peak and Brazil Olympic Committee. 

Peak respects the choice of Brazil men football team in using specialist equipment, but the team must wear full set of Peak uniform without showing other brands when step on the podium according to the agreements between Peak and Brazil Olympic Committee, said Peak on Sunday via its official Sina Weibo account, a Chinese Twitter like social media.

Peak said the action of Brazil men football team obviously violated the contractual arrangement that only one brand can be showed during accepting prizes set by International Olympic Committee.and The Brazilian side didn't communicate with Peak in advance. Peak has formally complained to Brazil Olympic Committed for the violation.

Peak mentioned that the overseas promotion of Chinese brands was often met with unfair treatment and Peak will defend their interests through legal channels.
