hot pot/ 火锅/ (huǒ ɡuō)

A: What's your favorite kind of Chinese food.

你最喜欢吃的中国食物是什么？

(nǐ zuìxǐhuān chīde zhōnɡɡuó shíwù shì shenme?)

B: I like a lot, but hot pot is my favorite.  

我喜欢吃的有很多,但最喜欢的是火锅。

(wǒ xǐhuān chīde yǒu hěnduō, dàn zuìxǐhuān de shì huǒɡuō.)

A: Hot pot truly is delicious. Hot pot also has a history of several thousand years in China.

火锅确实很美味。而且火锅在中国已经有几千年的历史了。

(huǒɡuō quèshí hěn měiwèi.érqiě huǒɡuō zài zhōnɡɡuó yǐjīnɡ yǒu jǐqiānnián de lìshǐ le.)

B: I think hot pot is not only delicious but also nutritionally balanced. It goes with meat, vegetables and staple foods. 

我认为火锅不但美味,而且营养均衡,肉类,蔬菜,主食都可搭配。

(wǒ rènwéi huǒɡuō bùdàn měiwèi, érqiě yínɡyǎnɡ jūnhénɡ, ròulèi, shūcài, zhǔshí dōu kě dāpèi.)

A: Yup. For instance, pork, beef, chicken and all kinds of green vegetables and noodles. 

是的。比如说猪肉,牛肉,鸡肉,各种绿色蔬菜,面条等。

(shìde.bǐrú shuō zhūròu, niúròu, jīròu, ɡèzhǒnɡ lǜsè shūcài, miàntiáo děnɡ.)

B: Eating hot pot in the winter immediately warm you up. 

在冬天寒冷的时候,吃完能立即暖身。

(zài dōnɡtiān hánlěnɡ de shíhòu, chīwán nénɡ lìjí nuǎnshēn.)

A: I'm hungry by thinking it. Let's find a time to eat hot pot together. I know a nice place around there.  

这么想想我都饿了。找个时间我们一起去吃火锅吧。我知道一个好地方。

(zhème xiǎnɡxiǎnɡ wǒdōu èle.zhǎoɡè shíjiān wǒmén yīqǐqù chī huǒɡuō bā. wǒ zhīdào yīɡè hǎodì fānɡ.)
