A young girl from East China's Jiangsu Province has recently introduced China's new J-20 fighter jet pattern design to traditional Chinese clothing hanfu, said Toutiao News on Tuesday.
The report said that the design has attracted a lot of attention of many other hanfu lovers and is ready for mass production.
Zhou Xinyi, from Nanjing in Jiangsu, who was born in the 1990s is a military fan who's also been wearing hanfu for over a decade.
Zhou recently chose to reform her Chinese traditional wear to a more modern design. Instead of the traditional clouds designs on hanfu, Zhou altered them into her favorite jet - China's J-20 stealth fighter jet.
The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force displayed its latest achievements at the Airshow China 2021 in August. The J-20 fighter jet was introduced as one of the "20 family" aircraft at the show.
Many netizens praised the design by saying it's a "perfect combination of China's tradition and modern power."
"This is a very good way to integrate this traditional clothing into our modern world. We should encourage it."
