The latest exhibition at the Beijing Jindu Art Centre in the 798 Art Zone reviews the art career of artist Liu Yonggang through a series of his paintings, ceramics and installation works.

Among the 44 pieces at The Legend exhibition is a giant group photo called Noumenon, which occupies an entire wall of the space and took the artist five years to finish.

In the eyes of curator Rong Jian, no matter if it's The Legend or Noumenon, his works represent his artistic journey: finding a new self.

Besides the exhibition, the art center also hosted an academic seminar attended by art critics and collectors.

The exhibition is set to run until October 21.
