The International Monetary Fund (IMF), in its latest update of the World Economic Outlook, has projected the global economy to grow by 5.9 percent in 2021, down 0.1 percentage point from its July projection.

China's economy growth is expected at 8 percent for this year, said the IMF forecast, also down 0.1 percentage point from July.
