 A story about a 63-year-old Chinese man from Huishui county in Southwest China's Guizhou Province who keeps silicone dolls for photography and treats them like his daughters sparked heated discussions online. 

The man named Yu Zhenguo has been collecting silicone dolls since 2014. Instead of using them as sex toys, he spends a large sum of money on clothes to dresses up these dolls in period costumes and take exquisite photos of them. His photos have become popular especially among silicone dolls fans. 

Yu doesn't simply use the dolls as sitters for photography, he treats them like his daughters and even celebrates birthdays for them and takes them out for travel. 

Although his unusual hobby is understood by his son, a photographer who works at a doll factory, it is not understood by some netizens who regard him as a freak. 

There are also many netizens supporting Yu, arguing that silicone dolls are just large-sized garage kits for the old man for comfort and companionship.
