A host contest featuring a raft of fresh faces is being held nationwide to bring in new talents for the transformation of the traditional broadcasting industry, with three winning the final awards.
Thursday evening saw a cross-country talent contest's final winner revealed at the 2021 Audio Creative Summit & Beijing Radio Festival in Beijing, boasting an excellent audio stage performance contributed by the winners at the festival.
Jointly hosted by Beijing Radio & Television Station (BRTV) and Tingting FM, an audio app belonging to BRTV discovered new anchors with well-rounded skills such as planning, editing and operation in an era of convergence media such as social media and online apps.

Contestants are not limited to professional anchors or hosts, as the sign-up forms are filled by from young college and university students, popular social media influencers to professional TV hosts, and whoever wants to impress the audience with their voice.
The content includes various events, where the competitors are able to tell stories ranging from culture, science, life, and even family relations.
The 50-day contest has come to an end with only three final winners from a total of 900 competitors, with Liu Qinru, Yu Yue, and Chi Xinrui winning the first three places.
Apart from the above three final winners, there are other awards to the rest of 17 competitors, accounted for the final top 20 who are able to access financial support provided by BRTV to boost their own host career.
Among them the 20-year-old contestant Lu Xiaoyue won the "Greatest Potential Award" for her dubbing performance at the final competition.
A professional entertainer named Jiao Hongxiang, an anchor at the local television station in East China's Anhui Province, has won the "Most Popular Award" for building a massive number of fans during the course of the show.
Another contestant Liu Jiaming, a student from Communication University of China has won the "Best Integrated Award" for digging out many interesting stories in people's everyday life.
Guo Kaixuan, pulled off a perfect performance by telling the stories of famous Chinese translator Zhu Shenghao and 84-year-old Ye Ruling and his medical experience in Southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, and won the "Best Storytelling Award."
The 54-year-old Han Jian, who has been working in the media industry for a long time, the oldest in the top 20 contestants, won the "Best Operating Award" for his first work on social media.
