A: Did you know that recently a famous cosmetics vlogger was sued because she posted a filter photo of herself on social media?

B: Isn't adding a filter to a photo is a pretty common thing that many people do? Why is she being sued? I don't really get it.

加了滤镜的照片不是很正常吗,为什么会被投诉呢？我不太明白。

A: Because the filter makes you look prettier. A lot of the products she promotes don't match the reality, so she is being sued by a consumer.  

因为有滤镜的美化,她推荐的很多产品都与实物不符合,因此被消费者投诉。

B: So they are saying that using too many filters with beauty products and scenic photos shows the intention to deceive consumers.

A: Yes. Putting it a bit more seriously, it could involve fraud.

B: I think you're right. A commercial trap could be hiding behind beautiful filter photo.
