A man stabbed three people near a labor market on Thursday in Yunhe city of North China's Shanxi Province. A van driver stopped the stabber by knocking him down. The police are still investigating the incident.

A video shows a man in black rushing toward another person passing by and stabbed him several times with a kitchen knife. The van then knocked him down for three times until the man gave up the attack.

One witness said that the man was attacking people near a labor market where hundreds of off-farm workers come to seek for jobs at 7 am, Jimu News reported. "No one dared to stop him. The police and ambulance came very soon."

The police then reported that the 36-year-old stabber surnamed Zhao was an off-farm worker. Zhao started attacking people with a kitchen knife after quarreling with others. Three injured were sent to hospital.

The stabbing incident is still under investigation, said the police.
