Xu Bing: Art beyond the Karman Line - art exhibition This is an exhibition about space and art. It focuses on renowned Chinese contemporary artist Xu Bing's extraordinary project in which he collaborated with a privately run Chinese space company to send several of his artworks to outer space. The exhibition shows the works involved in this project. The exhibition's unique name - Art beyond the Karman Line refers to the line that delineates the end of Earth's atmosphere and outer space. To go beyond this line represents that the artist's imagination is free from unknown limitations.
