Entrepreneurs have many channels to contribute to common prosperity. The most basic is to operate legally and honestly, pay taxes according to regulations, fulfill social responsibilities, treat employees and customers well, protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers and consumers, and manage their own business well.

An enterprise creates wealth for society, which is the "duty" of an enterprise and the "right way" to contribute to common prosperity, Han Wenxiu, executive deputy director of the Office of the Central Committee for Financial and Economic Affairs, said at a press conference of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to introduce the guiding principles of its sixth plenary session on Friday.

The country encourages entrepreneurs to actively participate in charity. But donations are voluntary, and must not "kill the rich to help the poor," Han said.
