The artist is based in New York and best known for large-scale paintings that feature popping colors and very expressive brushwork. His paintings inherit the spirit of the early abstract art movement that US artists were definitely the main contributors to back during the days after World War II.

The painter's abstract artworks also engage figurative elements and illustrations that take viewers back to drawing conventions such as still life paintings before the rise of modern art.
