Kuwait launched on Thursday the fourth children's science exhibition in Hawalli Governorate to develop children's talents.
Organized by Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR), the exhibition aims to encourage children aged 6 to 12 to develop and practice scientific research and discover their scientific talents in order to develop their skills to serve the future of Kuwait, Abdulmohsen Al-Haroon, KISR's CEO for Marketing and Commercialization Sector, said.
The previous exhibitions witnessed the participation of over 2,000 children who presented several science projects and experiments, he added.
According to Al-Haroon, the exhibition includes scientific experiments in several research institutions, where they offer many experiments showing how to extract DNA from fruits and explain the impact of natural factors as well as energy efficiency and carbohydrate concentration experiments.
