A food delivery man in Central China's Henan Province has saved a suicidal customer after receiving an order from him with a note reading "the last meal in my life."

Finding the note strange and with no one answering the door, the courier called the police, saying that he suspected the customer may commit suicide. As police and firemen arrived, the man refused to open door and threatened to jump out of the window. The police persuaded him to calm down while the firemen quietly slid into the room and saved him.

The police thanked the food delivery man for finding the suicidal man in time. He had taken 60 sleeping pills before the police arrived. "He felt frustrated and guilty to his parents for investment failure," said the police.

"A desperate man was crying for help for the last time. I'm so glad the courier had understood it!" commented one netizen.
