The Cultural Tour of Beijing Opera, an online exhibition launched by the Beijing Overseas Cultural Exchanges Center as part of the Happy Chinese New Year event, aims to provide a platform to share Chinese culture with overseas audiences.

The event includes a series of live performances of works such as The Overlord and Yu Concubine, Deep Night, Drunken Concubine, and a guzheng version of Dingjun Mountain by performers from the Beijing Opera House.

Renowned Beijing Opera master Tan Xiaozeng will make an appearance to discuss the relationship between the Spring Festival and Beijing Opera as well as the traditional pear orchard of the Chinese New Year operas. Through their screens, audiences will also have the opportunity to visit the must-see locations related to Beijing Opera.

These performances and exhibitions will be available on media platforms and channels in countries such as Canada and Belgium.
