Gu Ailing, or Eileen Gu, Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games gold medalist in women's big air freestyle skiing, successfully reached the final of the women's freeski slopestyle competition on Monday.

While Gu was waiting for the score after she finished the second round of qualifiers on Monday, she brought out a special Chinese snack that is called "Jiucai Hezi," which drew the netizens' attentions.

"Jiucai Hezi" is a traditional Chinese delicacy, looking like a pie filled with Chinese chives and eggs, with a uniquely strong smell which is not everyone's taste.

When asked by reporters about how does the pie tasted, Gu said the Chinese "Jiucai Hezi" was "super good" with a hand gesture giving it high marks.

Longmao Zizai, a Sina Weibo user, said that "he finally had something in common with an Olympic champion".

Gu's score of 79.38 points in the qualifier after two runs made her ranking third among 12 making into the final contest, which is scheduled for Tuesday.
