Fifty minutes after a flight took off from Nanjing heading towards Kunming, a panicked passenger told a flight attendant that she might have left her gas stove on and that she needed help to turn it off.  

The flight crew contacted, via satellite phone, a property management for assistance. When a team from the company reached her home, they discovered that the gas stove was actually off, but the door was left open. 

Many netizens laughed after learning about the story, with many saying that they have the same experience everyday when they leave their houses. "The 10 minutes after I leave home is the hardest because I have to rethink whether I have turned off the gas or closed my door," one comment said.
