Vice Premier urges authorities at all levels to crack down on women trafficking

Chinese Vice Premier Sun Chunlan urged Party committees and governments at all levels to continuously enhance Chinese women's sense of security by strictly cracking down on women trafficking. Sun made the remarks during the online forum held on Monday by the All-China Women's Federation.

Sun, also a head of the National Working Committee on Children and Women under the State Council, called for a joint high-quality professional development and social progress and inclusion of all women. Chinese women should be included in the overall social development plans and public policy system to improve their sense of fulfillment and happiness, she said.

Sun extended her greetings to Chinese women from all ethnic groups in all social sectors ahead of the International Women's Day, sending a message to all Chinese women to be ambitious and hard-working, play the same important role as men in the new era and make contributions in the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Sun also sent congratulations to the much-admired groups and individuals praised on the forum for their outstanding work.
