A student surnamed Yang who studies in Heze, East China's Shandong Province, fell asleep at night playing with his mobile phone. At 3 am, she accidentally called her mother by mistake. "When I woke up, I found that my mother had sent me 38 messages and made 22 phone calls within three hours, constantly asking me what was wrong and whether I was ok," Yang said.
Yang said that the phone was in silent mode, then she called her mother immediately after she woke up. Her mother cried and said it was OK as long as she is really fine.
"My college is far away from my hometown. I think it shows how much my mother loves me and is worried about me. And this incident will never happen again," Yang said.
Yang posted the screenshot of her mother's messages on social media platforms and many netizens were touched. "We are everything our parents are," one netizen said. "That is why we usually tell them good news and keep the bad ones to ourselves."
