Recently, a 15-year-old boy in Jilin, Northeast China's Jilin Province, made hand-warming bottles from cans and sent it to the medical staff in charge of nucleic acid collection, which was praised by netizens as soothing antidote.

The boy's mother, surnamed Kuang, told a reporter that the temperature outside was low that day on Monday and it interfered with the work of the medical staff as they administered nucleic acid tests. "Our hands were too cold to write at that time," a staff member said. "His kindness has made our work in this cold weather much worthy."

After learning about the situation, the child bought many cans with his lucky money and filled them with hot water to make hand-warming bottles. On International Women's Day, he also bought flowers and heating pad for the medical staff.

"My husband, the boy's father, is also working as a frontliner in another city," Kuang said. "This was also his way of cheering and supporting his dad."

"With such a child, there is absolutely new hope for the future of our motherland!" One netizen said.
