Commemorating Beyond - Music event  


You should not miss this gig in Chengdu, Sichuan Province if you are a fan of the legendary Chinese rock band Beyond. The show is fully dedicated to the Hong Kong band that was formed in 1983 and went on to become the most successful and influential rock band from the city. 

The gig will be led by vocalist Fu Jiu, who sounds extremely similar to Beyond's original vocalist Wong Ka Kui. The show is going to cover nearly 20 of the band's most iconic songs, any particular one is sure to be emotional and tearful for die-hard fans. 

One tip before you grab your tickets for the show is that each individual is only allowed to purchase up to six tickets, while items such as lighters, food and drink are prohibited.

The event in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang Province, is for fans who are interested in the independent experimental music scene, which is exactly what the band Peace Hotel produces for its audience. 

The four-member boy band is an emerging dark horse in the Chinese independent music industry. Only releasing their first EP, Hidden Menu, a mere two years ago, they began gathering fans with their unique innovative style that fuses various interesting elements in their music productions. 

The Hangzhou show is going to be just one stop on their national tour, during which the band will also travel to other cities such as Nanjing, Chongqing and Zhengzhou.
