Recently, a 3-year-old boy in Changsha, Central China's Hunan Province, was so obsessed with watching TV that he tried to help Ultraman in the show beat the monster with his toy, but ended up smashing the TV.

The footage of the incident was captured by a camera in the boy's home. The boy was standing in his living room, intently watching Ultraman fighting monsters. Seeing his hero getting defeated, the boy rushed to the TV, and in a hurry, picked up his Ultraman toy and smashed the "monster," causing the TV screen to malfunction.

The boy's mother, surnamed Feng, said the TV is worth around 1,000 yuan ($157), noting that her family has made restrictions on amount of time the child should spend watching TV.
