A: Ah! Why is your hand bleeding? 

哎呀,你的手怎么流血了？

(āiya, nǐde shǒu zěnme liúxuè le?)

B: Don't panic. This liquid that looks like blood is actually from the blood orange I'm eating.  

不要紧张,这像血液一样的液体其实来自我正在吃的这个血橙。

(bùyào jǐnzhānɡ, zhè xiànɡ xuèyè yīyànɡ de yètǐ qíshí láizì wǒ zhènɡzài chīde zhèɡè xuèchénɡ.)

A: What's a blood orange?

B: A blood orange has pretty much the same sweet and sour taste of a regular orange, but the meat has a dark red or dark purple-red "blood vessels," so people call it a blood orange. 

血橙有着和一般甜橙差不多的酸甜口味,但果肉中带有深红色或暗紫色的"血丝"因此被人们称为血橙。

A: Really? That sounds interesting. Is this type of blood orange grown in China?

B: Of course ! They are cultivated all over China with the main areas of production being the provinces of Sichuan and Jiangxi.
