For many students, school closure may be boring. However, in order to improve the students' mood, the school management did their best. After the college closed for epidemic prevention, the old security guards of the Tangshan Vocational and Technical College in Tangshan, North China's Hebei Province, opened a concert on the playground on Thursday.
A video posted online shows the security guard singing passionately while holding a microphone. Students were clapping and cheering for him. Many netizens said the security guard's song was full of love and that he's a man with a story. Many also say it is a good way to relieve stress and relax the students, which shows that the school did pay attention to students' mental health. "This will keep the students safe and entertained, and other schools should learn from them," one netizen said.
As of Sunday, no new local COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Hebei and a total of 74 asymptomatic local cases had been reported, including 59 in Tangshan. The city now imposed strict traffic controls along with other epidemic prevention measures.
