A: The weather is so hot today! How about we go buy a drink?  

今天天气好热啊。我们要一起去买杯饮料喝吗？

(jīntiān tiānqì hǎorè ā.wǒmén yào yīqǐ qù mǎibēi yǐnliào hē ma?)

B:I've brought some fruit juice I made myself, do you want to try some?  

我带了自制的水果饮料,要不你尝尝？

A: Okay. What fruit is in this cup? I've never seen it before.    

好啊,这杯子里是什么水果呢？我从来没见过。

(hǎoā, zhè bēizǐ lǐ shì shénme shuǐɡuǒ ne? wǒ cónɡlái méi jiànɡuò.)

B: The yellow one at the bottom of the cup is passion fruit. This type of fruit is full of vitamins and has a sweet and sour taste.  

黄黄的沉在杯底的是百香果,这种水果富有丰富的维生素,并且口味酸甜。

(huánɡhuánɡ de chénzài bēidǐ de shì bǎixiānɡɡuǒ, zhèzhǒnɡ shuǐɡuǒ fùyǒu fēnɡfùde wéishēnɡsù, bìnɡqiě kǒuwèi suāntián.)

A: Now that you say it, I know this one. I once read an article that said the oil from this fruit's seeds can be eaten or used to make soap.

B: Really? I've never heard that. But I do know that this fruit is also called "egg fruit."   

是吗？这我倒从来没听过。但是我知道,这种水果还被称为"鸡蛋果"。

(shìma？zhè wǒ dǎo cónɡlái méi tīnɡɡuò.dànshì wǒ zhīdào, zhèzhǒnɡ shuǐɡuǒ háibèi chēnɡwéi "jīdàn ɡuǒ".)

A: I want to make a drink from passion fruit next time. 

我下次也想用百香果做饮料。

(wǒ xiàcì yěxiǎnɡ yònɡ bǎixiānɡɡuǒ zuò yǐnliào.)
