THE SCENE IN VIEW

Zhu Shuzhen

(Southern Song Dynasty)

My lonely window shaded by swaying bamboo,

At sunset I hear lovebirds chirping two by two.

Crabapple flowers fade, willow down flies away.

What drowsy weather when begins the lengthening day.

即景
