Struggling Borussia Dortmund continue to restructure their squad after a disappointing performance on the international stage.

In the course of the changes, the Black and Yellows are going to lose their best striker, but reinvest the transfer fee to update their defense.

Reports in the UK speak about Erling Haaland's move to Manchester City as a "done deal" and confirm rumors of the recent weeks.

The 21-year-old striker is said to use an exit clause worth 75 million euros plus bonuses receiving a salary of 30 million net per season including signing fees for his father Alf-Inge and his management agency.

While the deal needs to be confirmed officially, Dortmund's sporting director Sebastian Kehl said, things around the Norwegian forward will get finally fixed this week after he scored 21 season goals aside from having delivered eight assists.

Kehl renewed his statements talking of "nobody being surprised" when Haaland is ending up in the Premier League.

According to reports, Real Madrid and Bayern had been interested too. German media say Dortmund has been informed about the striker's agreement with the Citizens.

After having signed Bayern's Niklas Sule and Freiburg's German international Nico Schlotterbeck for the back row, the Dortmund official announced further deals are in progress.

"I think we will have news on Karim Adeyemi this week as well," Kehl stated. The Munich-born striker is said to be one of the updates for Borussia's attacking line.

In addition to the 20-year-old joining in from RB Salzburg, Dortmund is looking for another new striker to jointly replace the goal-machine Haaland. Rumors talk about former Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic, currently employed by Real Madrid. The 24-year-old failed to achieve his breakthrough in Spain and is said to head for new borders.

Dortmund's actions are said to provide more stability for under-fire coach Marco Rose as 51 conceded goals in the national league are far from acceptable.

Kehl announces a relentless analysis after the club's last season game next weekend. The Borussia official said the talks include the future of head coach Rose.

The team's performance this season was far from satisfying coming along with disappointing exits in the Champions League and the German Cup, the former midfielder added.

The new arrivals are said to increase team internal competition for the clubs' old hands such as Marco Reus and Mats Hummels.

Media reports speak of 26-year-old Sule and 22-year-old Schlotterbeck standing for one of the Bundesliga's best central defense levels. "I am looking forward to my time with Borussia. The club told me about its goals and visions and I am enthusiastic to be part of it," Schlotterbeck said.

Rumors speak of Dortmund looking for an on-loan deal for its talent Youssoufa Moukoko. The 17-year-old is said to get more playing minutes and later return to Dortmund as the club is demanding a re-buy option.
