A: Did you get a new hairstyle?   

你去做了新发型吗？

B: Yeah, I got a perm. Do you think it looks good?   

是的,我去烫发了。你觉得好看吗？

A: It looks really good. I've never gotten a perm. Can you share your experience with me?

B: Don't bring it up. I originally didn't want to get a perm at all, but the people at the beauty salon recommended I get a perm and for the sake of a new hairstyle I decided to get one.

A: This reminds me of some recent news. A man spent a lot of money to get a perm at a barber's suggestion, but because his hair was too short, his hair looked exactly the same after the perm. He was very disappointed.
