In Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Southwest China's Sichuan Province, tidy asphalt roads connect thousands of households, with brand-new and bright Tibetan-style buildings rising from the ground, clean and bright tap water flowing, and smiling faces being filled with happiness. In the 153,000 square kilometers of Garze, a heart-warming picture of harmony, happiness, beauty and safety can be seen.

In Kangding county, central heating allows citizens to live a comfortable life of "wearing short sleeves at home in winter, while it is snowing outside." In Luhuo county, on a plateau at an altitude of 3,600 meters, a hemodialysis center has been built with the government's support. In Litang county, the government provides training to boost employment, with various options available.

In Danba county and Yajiang county, new Tibetan-style houses have been built. Flowers are blooming and tourists come to the area. In Sertar county, there are good roads covered with asphalt, making transport easier amid the beautiful rural scenery.

In Derong county, a project to improve the quality of the drinking water has given every household convenient access to safe water. In Daocheng and Garze counties, the good teaching environment and modern infrastructure in the school have ensured high-quality educational resources. In Batang county, the vegetable supply base in winter is plentiful and the local agriculture has been upgraded.

Focusing on employment, medical care, education, heating and other key aspects that people care about, Garze prefecture has implemented a number of projects that have achieved remarkable results and improved locals' lives.

There is no end to ensuring and improving people's livelihoods, but only a continuous starting point.
