In 2021, the sales revenue of Shanxi Fenjiu compound liquor reached about 1.25 billion yuan ($0.18 billion), up 91.39 percent year on year with  the growth rate far higher than that of Fenjiu and other liquor products. Andthe main representative brand of compound liquor is the Zhuyeqing liquor series.

The rapid growth of Zhuyeqing liquor means that Fenjiu has created a new growth. Zhuyeqing liquor is also a kind of nationally famous liquor. In 1954, Zhuyeqing liquor began to be exported to earn foreign exchange and became one of the earliest export commodities for China. It was rated as National Famous Wine in the second, third and fourth national wine appraisal conferences.

As an important part of Fenjiu rejuvenation plan, the return and revival of Zhu Ye Qing is imperative and also a general trend. Zhuyeqing liquorIt also targets the health industry related to the national economy and people's livelihoods.

At present, Shanxi Province is focused on industrial transformation and is implementing a 100 billion yuan industrial cultivation project, one of which is to create  100 billion yuan health industry. With the large-scale planning and construction in the province, a large number of cultural tourism and health care projects have been cultivated and are being upgraded, with the demand for cluster development.

"We should further improve our position, plan for the future with a higher vision, put the development of Zhuyeqing liquor health industry in the policy guidance of national and Shanxi Province in the development of the great health industry, actively integrate into the overall development of the province, firmly seize the opportunity, accelerate the integration process of Zhuyeqing liquor production, supply, marketing and research." Yuan Qingmao, Party secretary and chairman of Fenjiu, believes that Zhu Ye Qing should actively seek cooperation opportunities in the upstream and downstream of the health industry chain, attract high-quality partners in health-related fields, and jointly build a Zhuyeqing liquor health industry cluster based on Shanxi characteristics.
