Video of a ballet dancer, surnamed Xie, dancing under the flower-shaped streetlamps in the seaside park at midnight in Xiamen, East China's Fujian Province on Monday went viral on Chinese social media. 

Xie, who is now a dance teacher, said the park was crowded during the day and she had to wait until late at night when the crowds dwindled to dance. She added that she liked to read fairy tales when she was a child and dreamed of dancing ballet like a princess. "This flower-shaped streetlamps will light up when it senses someone is approaching, just like a fairy tale, fulfilling a childhood dream," Xie said. There are a lot of people under the lanterns in the daytime, so she has to wait until late at night when there are fewer people to dance. 

Seeing that many people in the comment section, Xie said she feels very happy. "I'm very honored that people can enjoy my dance."
