A man in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang Province, recently posted a video on a short video platform showing him driving at a top speed of 146 kilometers per hour, which was then reported to the police by netizens.
Traffic police summoned this illegal vehicle driver, surnamed Lin, soon after they received the report. Lin confessed that he wanted to chase the feeling of excitement, so he had floored the gas pedal, and he believed that showing off on the internet could also boost that excitement. After he had received a lesson and punishment, Lin made a deep reflection. At present, the case is being further processed. "Video platforms are not out of the reach of the law," one netizen said. "Especially now people are full of the sense of justice."
