The Playful World of Eric Carle - Art exhibitionThis exhibition in Beijing is a solo show for Eric Carle, a US author, designer and illustrator of children's books.
Born in 1929 and passing away in 2021, Carle created more than 70 books and sold more than 175 million copies of them around the world. One of his most representative picture books
The Very Hungry Caterpillar, first published in 1969, has been translated into more than 80 languages and sold more than 55 million copies worldwide.
Children and parents will definitely have a blast at the exhibition. The art gallery showcases 24 illustrations by Carle and more than 15 interactive activities are available for families, providing visitors a memorable experience.
The exhibition was co-designed by the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh and The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art.

Me and I - Oamul Lu solo This art exhibition in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province is a solo show for Oamul Lu (Lu Tao), who is a popular Chinese artist and illustrator. Born in Shouning, Fujian Province, his work has a strong connection with nature. After graduation, he went to Xiamen, where he established his own art style with vivid colors and free brushstrokes.
Lu has published several picture books and has collaborated with iconic brands such as Apple, Google, Chanel and LV.
This is the first large-scale solo exhibition Lu has held in China. The exhibition showcases more than 100 of Lu's works, including easel paintings, sculptures and installation works.
The exhibition is presented across five sections: Blue Garden, Me and I, Self-Portrait, Journey of the Four Seasons and Flowers.

Canon in D - Music eventThis music concert in Beijing features a selection of classic works.
Canon in D is an accompanied canon by the German Baroque composer Johann Pachelbel. It is one of the most popular classical pieces enjoyed around the world. Only five minutes long, it has brought audiences a magical audio experience for more than 300 years.
At the concert, musicians from Music Fans Classical will play multiple versions of
Canon in D with a touch of fashion, reserving the seriousness of the original work while adding a modern dynamic.
Besides
Canon in D, Music Fans Classical will also perform others classic works rearranged by great composers, such as Turkish March by Mozart, English folk song Green Sleeves and Hungarian Dance No. 5 by Brahms.
Music Fans Classical is a dynamic orchestra that performs various styles of music and combines classic and popular elements altogether. Their first original music album Hui was released in 2018.
