Chinese young people nowadays tend to hold weddings in untraditional ways. According to a recent survey, those born post-90s and -95s do not want to get involved in the assembly-line wedding routine. They resent the tedious process, formalism, and sensationalism in weddings, while looking forward to enjoying the happy experience of the wedding process. Lawn weddings, camping weddings, and so on are gradually becoming more popular among young people. There are even live-streamed weddings that guests can attend online. These young people choose to hold weddings in their own way, cut off the ritual links they don't like, and only keep what they want. This kind of "simple" wedding will not reduce the sense of ceremony and happiness, but will alleviate the fatigue of the newlywed and save expenses. It will likely become the choice of more newlyweds in the future.
