A: Do you know what a border collie is? My neighbor got one recently.   

你知道边境牧羊犬吗？我邻居最近养了一只。

(nǐ zhīdào biānjìnɡ mùyánɡquǎn ma? wǒ línjū zuìjìn yǎnɡle yīzhī.)

B: Yes, I heard that it is the smartest dog in the world.

是的,我听说那是世界上最聪明的狗。

(shìde, wǒ tīnɡshuō nàshì shìjièshànɡ zuì cōnɡmínɡ de ɡǒu.)

A: Yup. This dog certainly is smart. I heard that a border collie once got sunstroke and passed out. After it woke up after treatment, it would often kick its master to remind him to give it water. 

没错,这种狗狗确实很聪明。听说有边境牧羊犬中暑晕倒,治疗苏醒后时不时就踢主人一下提醒他给自己补水。

B: It really is a smart and sweet dog. I want one too. 

真是聪明又贴心的狗狗,我也想养一只。

(zhēnshì cōnɡmínɡ yòu tiēxīn de ɡǒuɡǒu, wǒ yěxiǎnɡ yǎnɡ yīzhī.)

A: Border collies are medium-sized dogs. They have strong athletic prowess, so you have to give it enough room so that it is guaranteed to get enough exercise each day. 

边境牧羊犬是中型犬,它本身具有较强的运动能力,饲养需要给予它足够的空间并保证他每天能得到充分运动。

(biānjìnɡ mùyánɡquǎn shì zhōnɡxínɡquǎn, tā běnshēn jùyǒu jiàoqiánɡ de yùndònɡ nénɡlì, sìyǎnɡ xūyào ɡěiyǔ tā zúɡòu de kōnɡjiān bìnɡ bǎozhènɡ tā měitiān nénɡ dédào chōnɡfēn yùndònɡ.)
