With the arrival of Iraq's hunting season, which usually begins at the end of August and last until December, the arms market in Iraqi capital Baghdad is thriving.

Iraq permits the sale and purchase of weaponry in many stores in Baghdad.

Not only the shop owners are required to obtain licenses for the arms trade, but weapon buyers are also required to have their licenses. In Iraq, buyers of hunting arms are not required to have licenses.
