Recently, several netizens posted videos showing a whole piece of glass in the tiger area broken in a wild zoo in Jinan, East China's Shandong Province on Saturday. In the video, many tourists were frightened and hurried to leave with their children.

The zoo said no one was hurt, and now the cracked glass has been repaired

The video shows the cracked glass has two feeding holes, where tourists could feed tigers themselves.

Normally, tourists can use a clamp to pick up the food and then feed the tigers through the holes in the glass. Since this feeding spot is the closest one to tigers in the zoo, it has attracted many tourists to visit.

However, a staff member of the zoo dismissed the rumor that a tiger broke the glass.

According to the staff member, the glass was cracked because of the weather. It was just a coincidence that when the glass was broken, the tiger was sitting there.

Before the zoo cleared the issue, most netizens expressed their fear of visiting there. But after they knew the reason, some netizens said they had seen glass cracked due to the high temperature in other places before, while others joked that the tiger must have thought: "It is none of my business."
