Since August Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality has been hit by continuous hot weather, and mountain fires have broken out in parts of it. Chongqing, also known as a "mountain city," has a steep terrain that makes it difficult to transport relief supplies and equipment up the mountain.

Fortunately, many local riders rode motorcycles to join in, and others were professional riders who came specially for the delivery work.

One of them, a post-2000s young man named Long Jie, has become famous as "the rider in fire." Long is a takeaway rider who enjoys off-road motorcycle in his spare time. He is a highly skilled member of a local motocross team. On August 22, when he learned that hundreds of fire fighters in the mountain forest had not gotten food, he immediately took food and ice water on his back and drove his motorcycle to provide the materials.

The battle against nature was finally won on Friday. Unfortunately, his motorbike numbered "No.26" in the team was damaged in the firefighting action.

On Sunday, the leader of the motocross team said that they have received several museum invitations to collect "No.26," and they are also considering selling the motorbike at auction as a charity.
