According to netizens, Haidilao Hot Pot would offer its customers who recently broke up a comfort service if they need it. The "breakup package" includes preparing desserts or flowers for customers, preparing the audio and light signs to sing a song named "decent" for customers, and finally giving them a breakup gift.

Haidilao Hot Pot has always been famous for its innovative ideas in considerate service. If customers celebrate their birthday in any of its stores, several waiters there will sing a song together very loudly in front of their table, and everyone in the restaurant will know it is their birthday, which sometimes makes the customers feel very happy.

Regarding the "breakup package" rumor, Haidilao's official customer service responded that at present, the chain stores might only offer happy birthday songs as they may not have the copyright of other songs. However, if customers need the "breakup service," they can always contact the store for it. 

Some staff members said that so far, they haven't "celebrated" break ups for any customer yet, but if customers need the service, they could ask other staff members there to help and give them a gift. The staff said they can do any kind of celebration in the Haidilao Hot Pot. Netizens found the idea of the "breakup service" interesting and joked if there were anyone on the internet who would love to break up with her so that she could enjoy the service in Haidilao. Some also thought it would be very embarrassing if everyone in the restaurant knew someone who had recently broken up.
