A: Did you know? A programmer in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province has created a program that translates braille into Chinese characters.     

你知道吗？杭州一名程序员发明了一种翻译工具能把盲文转译成汉字。

B: That sounds very useful. Braille is designed specifically for the blind, but it is rather hard for the average person to understand.

这听上去很实用。盲文是专为盲人设计的文字,一般人很难看懂。

A: Yup. Recognizing braille is very difficult, but it is also an indispensable means for blind people to communicate with the world. This is why this programmer wanted to make this translation tool.

B: It must have been really hard to develop this translation tool, right?

A: The programmer has continually worked on increasing the accuracy of the program before he got the final product. It was a great invention.
