A primary school in East China's Fujian Province is offering sex education to students on how to use sanitary napkins, with boys in the class taking the initiative to show off their learning results. The teacher said that sex education does not distinguish between girls and boys, and that boys are more likely to respect girls after learning this knowledge in class.

The teacher surnamed Xiao, said that the school has always insisted on carrying out different sex education courses according to the age of students. From the first grade to the sixth grade, there is a monthly course on topics including human birth, physical changes in adolescence, and sexual assault prevention.

These courses explained the use of sanitary napkins. Boys also walked onto the podium to practice the use of sanitary napkins and brought sanitary napkins from home and put them in the classroom for girls in emergency situations.

Many netizens have expressed their understanding and praise for the course. "It is really gratifying to see that children can now learn this knowledge so that they can calm in the face of normal physiological phenomena," a netizen said on social media.

More and more Chinese schools are now offering sex education lessons that teach students not only to protect themselves, but also to respect others.
