INTERMOT, the International Motorcycle, Scooter and E-bike Fair, opened its doors here on Tuesday after a lengthy, four-year break.

Between Oct. 4 and Oct. 9, some 500 companies and brands from 29 countries and regions will showcase their new models and product innovations and tap into new target groups.

They include motorcycle industry giants BMW, Honda, Kawasaki and Piaggio, and nearly 20 Chinese companies, such as Zhongxing and Yadi.

INTERMOT 2022 is the leading trade fair for motorcycles and scooters, "where these new vehicle launches will not only be viewable on screen, but also available for motorcycle enthusiasts to experience in person," INTERMOT Director Alexander Wolff said.
