China's women's table tennis team will next take on either Japan or Germany, depending on the two team's performance in the semifinal round.
Sun said that she has played against Chen several times before, and her overall playing level has improved. "I am also in the face of this game with the attitude of trying my best and being prepared for the difficulties before the game," she noted. Chen of China's team said that it was the first time that she played against Li, and she was very cautious during the game as she was unfamiliar with the opponent.
Chinese netizens cheered up for the team's victory and congratulated the athletes on their brilliant performance at home, commenting that this can be seen as a good gift for the National Day, which fell on October 1.
