A: What is your favorite food to eat?

你最喜欢吃哪类食物呢？

(nǐ zuìxǐhuān chī nǎlèi shíwù ne?)

B: I really like dumplings from Chinese cuisine, and I also love steak from Western cuisine. 

我很喜欢吃中餐里面的饺子,也爱吃西餐里的牛排。

(wǒ hěnxǐhuān chī zhōnɡcān lǐmiàn de jiǎozǐ, yě àichī xīcān lǐde niúpái.) 

A: Then, can you introduce what's special about steak?

那你能给我介绍下牛排有什么讲究吗？

B: Steak is divided into different types. The most common are filet mignon, ribeye, sirloin and T-bone steak.  

牛排分不同的种类,常见的有菲力牛排,肋眼牛排,西冷牛排和T骨牛排。

(niúpái fēn bùtónɡ de zhǒnɡlèi, chánɡjiàn de yǒu fēilì niúpái, lèiyǎn niúpái, xīlěnɡ niúpái hé tiɡǔniúpái.)

A: It's all beef, so why do they have different names? 

都是牛肉,它们为何有不同的名字呢？

(dōushì niúròu, tāmén wéihé yǒu bùtónɡ de mínɡzì ne?)

B: Those names correspond to different parts of the cow. Like filet mignon corresponds to the tenderloin of the cow.

这些牛排的名字对应的是牛身上不同的部位,例如,菲力牛排对应的是牛里脊。

(zhèxiē niúpái de mínɡzì duìyīnɡ de shì niú shēnshànɡ bùtónɡ de bùwèi, lìrú, fēilì niúpái duìyīnɡ de shì niú lǐjǐ.)

A: So does the filet mignon have a special texture? 

那菲力牛排有什么特殊的口感吗？

B: It is very tender and hardly has any fat. It is very good for your health. 

它很嫩,几乎不含脂肪。对身体健康有益。
