China's first generation of female search and rescue helicopter captain Song Yin, who has been involved in maritime search in the East China Sea, rescued 225 people in 10 years.
Captain Song joined Donghai No.1 Rescue Flying Service after graduating from university in 2008. She has gained extensive flying and technical experience and is passionate about her flying career and is already well known in China as a modern-day maritime heroine. Song also worked with the team to open up the green channel for direct flights to the hospital from the sea, which makes the treatment of the injured to be faster and more efficient.
Song participated in all kinds of emergency rescues and has dealt with various dangerous situations during her more than ten years of work. "I have been committed to maritime rescue work in 10 years, and I will continue to do so in the future," she said.
